 A Grill that's Not Recomended for Omelette Lovers !! |

I bought this grill on the reputation of Cuisinart. But the plate design of this grill is extremely POOR. There was very little thought behind making the grill fully functional for omelettes or pancakes.
Here is the problem:
When preparing to grill an omelette (or pancakes), as soon an you pour in the eggs, they drip completely out of the side via the hole in the plate for the oil drippings, rendering it completely useless !!!
Cuisinart does not seem to sell any alternate plates that will allow cooking omellettes or waffles.
Although it does panninis and straight grilling great, it falls short of the full functionality I thought I was paying for.
Please respond to this post if you know of ANY brand of grill that does this. |

| This product is GREAT! Very easy to use. My girls and I took it with us on vacation, did not need to turn oven or stove top on not one time. Easy clean up, non stick surface. We cooked everything on it, eggs, bacon, chicken, paninis! I am ordering three more for birthday presents. Delivery was fast. I order a great deal on Amazon, have never had a problem. |

| I love this grill. I just moved out on my own recently and never really cooked for myself. 6 months of eating cereal and toast got old, so I bought this and now I make chicken and quesadillas, bacon and eggs, steak and hamburgers. It really is a great product. Easy to use, cooks fast, and removeable plates are easy to clean. Never had a Foreman grill but I'd have to assume this grill beats them easily. If you're considering it, buy it!! |

| I have used this kitchen workhorse for everything from pancakes to panini. I did a very tasty "grilled" vegetable salad that was even better than on the outside grill because you can control amount of char you want. Yum! I would highly recommend this appliance especially for the diet conscience. You can spray the griddle with pan spray instead of all that butter and oil on the panini. It is not exactly the same, but it is definately delicious! |
